A Lawsuit is Likely!

CCOG is soliciting your assistance in raising funds to offset the cost of legal fees for a lawsuit in the matter of the Redemptoris Mater Seminary.
Please use the Paypal link on the right to make your donation.  No amount is too small!
“And as the controversy rages on, Klitzkie says a lawsuit is likely.  So it might be that a court will determine who is the true owner.”
 Thank you for all your support!

    The CCOG fully supports the Silent No More initiative to lift the Statute of Limitation for past child sexual abuse. Contrary to what my cousins in the Way say, there are some sins that just not pardonable. Jesus tell us in Mt 12:31, “Wherefore I say unto you. All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.” Jesus continues in Mt 19:13-15 to tell us not to interfere with children seeking His guidance. The Neo conditioning that children are idols if and when they prevent one from attending a convivence is just wrong. Then in Mt 18:5-6, Jesus prescribes the penalty for child abuse “But whosoever shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.” In Chamorro, “Lao jayeja y munamatompo uno guine gui estesija mandiquique ni jumonggue yo, mas mauleg umagode gui agagana y dangculo na molinon acho, ya umayute gui anae tadodong y tase.” The people of Guam, the true Catholics of this Archdiocese, are preparing a millstone.

    My Fellow Catholics,

    The facts that have been publicly revealed so far all point to an evil scheme by the Chancery to convince us (the Catholic Faithful) that the Redemptoris Mater Seminary (RMS) property has not been given away to the RMS/Neocatechumenal (NCW) organization. Do not be fooled. It has been! And that illegal giving away of Church property is only the tip of the iceberg. There have been more, and that is why the Chancery is working very hard at nipping this at the bud.

    Please, please, please review the FACTS. Do not listen to their theories, or the lies that they are feeding us. They are desperately trying to avoid litigation to prevent the depositions that will reveal all.

    The following are documented facts that the Concerned Catholics of Guam (CCOG) will not hesitate to substantiate in a court of law:

    1. Request of Archbishop Anthony S. Apuron to the Archdiocesan Finance Council (AFC) to transfer the Yona Hotel Accion property to RMS; the AFC’s denial of the request; the Archdiocesan Legal Counsel’s opinion favoring the AFC’s denial; the firing of the dissenting AFC members; and the subsequent arbitrary, capricious, and illegal transfer of Church property that Archbishop Anthony S. Apuron effected anyway.

    2. The clandestine manner in which Archbishop Anthony S. Apuron, after being properly denied by the AFC, filed the Deed of Restriction so that no one would know of its existence (unless one bothers to research it).

    3. The discovery and exposure of this clandestine transfer of Church property by the CCOG; the legal opinion that the CCOG obtained confirming that the Deed of Restriction was indeed an alienation (giving away) of the Hotel Accion Property to RMS/NCW;

    4. The hiring by the Chancery (using OUR money) of an off-island law firm – not licensed to practice law in Guam – to come up with an opinion that the Hotel Accion property is still in the hands of the Archdiocese and not RMS/NCW;

    5. In the face of continuing opposition by the CCOG, the Chancery influences the Department of Land Management (DLM) to issue “another” certificate of title NOT showing the Deed of Restriction; DLM obliges; and the Chancery prints that “fake certificate” in the Umatuna Si Yu’os to quiet down the increasing suspicion and uproar of the Faithful Catholics.

    6. The discovery of the “fake certificate” by former Senator/Attorney Bob Klitzkie, and his demand on DLM for PROPER correction.

    7. The DLM debacle in explaining away that “fake certificate”, getting itself involved in the fray between the Chancery and the Catholic Faithful; support of the DLM improper manner of correcting the “fake certificate” by the Attorney General of Guam;

    8. Senator Tom Ada publicly stating in the Patti Arroyo Radio Show that he “smells something fishy” and adding that he might want to hold an informational legislative oversight hearing on DLM regarding its procedures and practices in correcting certificate of titles.

    9. And the plot continues to thicken!

    Like I said earlier, the RMS/NCW property is just the tip of the iceberg. There’s much, much, more and UNLESS WE BRING THIS MATTER TO COURT, we will continue to be manhandled by Archbishop Anthony S. Apuron and the Chancery. We need to go to court to resolve this – once and for all!

    BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP. PLEASE DONATE TO CCOG SO WE CAN GO TO COURT. Please write a check and send it to CCOG, P.O. Box 8647, Tamuning, Guam 96931; or to CCOG Treasurer, P.O. Box 274, Hagatna, Guam 96932.

    Si Yu’os Ma’ase,

    Gerald A. Taitano
    Treasurer, CCOG
